Joined the Special Care Unit for the Newborn Infant of the Hospital CUF Descobertas in Lisbon from 2005 to 2018

Team Leader in a weekly 24hour shift of the Emergecny Unit .

Neonatology Internship at the Maternidade Dr. Alfredo da Costa in 2006.

Academic / Teaching Experience

-Collaboration in the training of Medical Students and Pediatric Interns.

-Responsible for several protocols in neonatology and for completing the National Health Assessment System Survey in 2010.

- Collaboration in the Manual of the Newborn Infant of the  Hospital CUF Descobertas.

-Member of the organizing committee and one of the Instructors in the Course “The child’s  1st year of life” for General and Family Physicians in 2010 and the “Neonatal Resuscitation” Course for Interns in Pediatrics and Nurses in 2013.

- Held the 5th Mechanical Ventilation Course at the RN and the Transfontanellar Ultrasound Course at Hospital da Dona Estefânia  in October and November 2008.

- Author/Co-Author in 3 published scientific articles.

- Author/Co-Author of  40 papers presented at Scientific Meetings.
